Auto-Start Recording

Auto‑Start Recording begins capturing audio automatically when you open or switch to a patient visit. It reduces clicks and helps you capture the full conversation without having to remember to press Record.

Where To Enable

• Settings → Scribe → Auto start audio recording
• Also works in Mini‑Scribe settings

How It Works

• When enabled, Scribe starts recording as soon as a visit is opened or brought to the foreground
• A blinking pen indicator shows that recording is active
• Pausing or stopping works the same as manual mode
• If you switch patients, Scribe prompts to end the current session and start a new one

Tip: Auto‑Start pairs well with Mini‑Scribe. Keep Scribe minimized; when you see the blinking pen, you’re already recording. Expand only when you’re ready to review or generate the note.
