The Remove Empty Fields button helps clean up generated notes by removing fields that do not contain meaningful visit information.
How To Hide Empty Fields
- Open the generated note in the note editing screen
- Click Remove Empty Fields in the bottom-right corner
- Review the cleaned-up note
- Use Undo or Redo if you want to revert or reapply the change
How It Works

Scribe removes rows where the AI field value is empty or N/D. Rows with clinical details or custom default values remain in the note.
When To Use It
Use Remove Empty Fields when a generated note includes many template sections that were not discussed during the visit.
For example, if a template includes fields for allergies, medications, TMJ, sleep apnea, or home care, and some of those topics were not mentioned, Scribe can remove those empty sections from the note.
