Transcript Search

The Transcript Search feature helps you quickly find specific words or phrases within the current visit transcript without scrolling through the full transcript or replaying the entire recording.

How To Search

1. Open the visit or note you want to review
2. Open the Transcript panel
3. Click the Search icon or search field at the top of the transcript
4. Type the word or phrase you want to find
5. Review the highlighted matches in the transcript

Search Results

Scribe highlights matching text and lets you move between results using the up and down arrows. The numbers show your current match and the total number of matches; for example, 2/5 means you are viewing the second of five results. The selected match is automatically brought into view, making it easy to review the surrounding context.

Transcript Search works within the currently opened transcript. It does not search across all visits or all patients.

Search Accuracy

Transcript Search is case-insensitive and can account for potential misspellings or small variations in the transcript. For example, searching for a clinical term can still help you find the relevant part of the conversation even if the term was transcribed slightly differently.
