Editing a Template

Denti.AI Scribe templates can be edited either from the Template Management View or directly while working on a visit.

What you can edit:

• Name
• Category
• Content
• Display on every visit toggle
• Type, such as Simple Note, Structured Note, Referral Letter

If you change a template from Structured to Simple, AI fields will be removed.

Edit From Template Management View

Steps:

• Click Templates at the top to open the Template Management View
• Find the template using Search or filters
• Click Edit to open the Template Editor
• Make your changes, then click Save

Use Duplicate before large changes to keep an original version for reference or per‑provider variations.

Edit From Open Visit

• Open the visit and select the template you plan to adjust
• In the right templates panel, open the menu and click Edit template
• Apply changes in the Template Editor, then click Save

After you save template edits from an open visit, the note will automatically regenerate using the updated template. Review the new draft before finalizing.
