Recording and Transcription

The recording feature is at the heart of Denti.AI Scribe. During patient visits, you can record conversations automatically transcribed into text. This creates a verbatim record of the clinical encounter that serves as the foundation for your structured notes.

Key Capabilities:

• Start, pause, and resume recordings during patient visits
• Review real-time transcription as you speak
• Use automatically added time-stamp entries for easy reference
• Play back recordings to verify information
• Edit or remove specific parts of the transcript if they contain errors or sensitive information
• Listen to any section of the recording to verify information or clarify unclear parts

Note Generation

Once a recording is paused, Denti.AI Scribe automatically generates a structured clinical note based on the selected template. The AI analyzes the conversation, extracts relevant clinical information, and organizes it into the appropriate sections of the template.

Appending Information

One of Denti.AI Scribe's most powerful features is the ability to append additional information to an existing note. If you need to add more details after the initial note generation, simply resume the recording and continue your conversation.

Process:

• After pausing and generating the initial note, click "Resume" to continue recording
• Add the additional information through natural conversation or by dictation
• Pause again when finished
• The system will regenerate the note with the new information integrated into the note while preserving the unchanged data
• New additions will be highlighted for easy identification

Template Management

Denti.AI Scribe provides a flexible template system that allows you to create, modify, and manage note templates to fit your practice's specific needs. Both simple and structured templates are supported.

Key Capabilities:

• Create descriptive names to easily identify templates for different visit types or clinical scenarios
• Organize templates into custom categories for easier management and filtering
• Create the basic structure with sections and headings to ensure consistent note organization
• Flag important templates to appear for every visit

Template Types:

  Copy-paste existing templates from your practice management system for a more open-format note generation.
• Structured Note
  Create templates with specific AI fields, default values, descriptions, and options for more controlled and consistent note generation.

Visit Management

Denti.AI Scribe allows you to efficiently manage complex visits with advanced splitting functionality, making it easy to organize multiple patient issues or topics into separate notes.

Split Conversation:

• Navigate to the position in the transcript where you want to split the conversation
• Click the "Split session" button that appears when hovering over a timestamp
• Confirm the split in the dialog that appears
• The system will regenerate notes for both segments separately
• The remaining transcript will be transferred to a separate note with its own template selection
