Auto-Charting in Scribe

Auto‑Chart extracts clinical findings and treatment plan details from your conversation and structures them into a chart record. It automatically maps procedures to CDT codes, associates teeth and surfaces, and prepares data for transfer to your PMS.

Auto‑Chart is an optional add‑on to Scribe.

Key Capabilities

• Capture clinical findings from the transcript and free dictation
• Map treatments to CDT codes with tooth or surface context
• Create or append to a chart record for the current patient
• Allow editing codes, teeth, and surfaces before saving
• Send the finalized chart to the PMS when integrated

Typical Workflow

1. Select an Auto‑Chart template for the visit
2. Record the encounter as usual
3. Pause to generate findings and the initial treatment plan
4. Review and adjust codes, teeth, and surfaces
5. Create or update the chart record
6. Send to PMS
